[Action Needed] Order Regalia for Convocation or Robe Recycling Program

Hello Class of 2026!

We hope your summer is bringing you all of the rest, learning and joy that you want out of it.
This year’s Convocation will happen on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 am in the Amphitheater. We know that it might seem early to start already talking about your senior Convocation, but we want to make sure you have what you need to fully participate!

All seniors must wear the traditional black robe (no cap, tassel or hood needed) to process in with your class for the annual Convocation ceremony. You’ll need all of those pieces for your Commencement ceremony!

You have the opportunity to purchase your regalia from The Odyssey Bookshop or seek to participate in the Class Board Robe Recycling Program.

If you want to pre-order your regalia with The Odyssey Bookshop, you can do so via this link. If you do not have access to email over the summer, please know that regalia will be available for purchase from The Odyssey when you arrive back on campus at the start of the fall semester.

• The regalia package includes the gown you will need for Convocation and Commencement as well as the cap, tassel and hood you will need for Commencement.
   
• The cost of the package is $94.99 (please note that there will be an additional shipping and handling fee of $15.95 for domestic orders and $60 for international orders if you choose to have it shipped elsewhere).
   
• You can order for pick up at the Odyssey Bookshop until July 24 with no shipping and handling fee or have your regalia delivered to you for the shipping and handling charge explained in the bullet above. The order deadline for home delivery is August 7.

Robe Recycling Program
To ease the financial stress involved in making such purchases, the Office of Student Involvement, alongside the 2026 Class Board, has organized the Robe Recycling Program to make these items more accessible. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee regalia for everyone who signs up—this program prioritizes students who feel they cannot afford the regalia in any capacity.

Registration for the Recycling Program is now open via Embark, and regalia is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to those who have indicated the strongest financial need. By registering for regalia, you are agreeing to return the items by 4 pm on the day of Commencement, in the same condition that they were given.

The forms will close on Monday, September 1, at 9 am EST. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate robe distribution on the day of Convocation. Those who can be accommodated by the program will receive more information about pick-up by mid-August.
